Do you recognize the word “Zumba” when you hear it? Some people have a vague idea what it is. Something … related to working out or something. Right?
Yes! To fill you in (just in case), it’s a high-energy fitness program created by a Columbian dancer and choreographer back in the 90s. And we have a class just for you! This is an experience that will make you HAPPY. Yes! Besides being a great cardio boost and a way to tone your body — along with improving your coordination — you’ll leave with a smile on your face! Many other people have! Try it and discover your own happy grin!
“I have seen people that weren't interested in working out, because they didn't like how it felt, fall in love with fitness because of Zumba,” said Shelli Sanzo, Premier’s group fitness manager. “Most people love music and it makes you want to move to the beat. Zumba puts the fun in working out. It is a great cardio workout that will make you sweat and get your heart rate up!”
Seriously, this is a great way to relieve stress and it’s great for everyone — from beginners to those more advanced.
