We have a terrifying tale for you this Halloween! Be very, very frightened. This is what will happen to YOU if you don’t care of yourself and skip exercise.

When you don’t have any kind of physical activity, meaning you have a sedentary lifestyle, you’ll find your metabolic rate will slow down . . . like a zombie dragging itself aimlessly.

Your skeleton will suffer with a loss of bone density.

You won’t see much muscle tone . . . as if it were like the Invisible Man!

“Adequate exercise, a combination of aerobic exercise and strength training, increases one’s metabolic rate, strengthens one’s bones, and improves muscle tone and strength, among other things,” said Gary Fortney, the club’s fitness manager.

A lack of exercise has some correlation with some true horrors! These include certain metabolic diseases, such as diabetes, and conditions, such as obesity.

“Of course, there is more than likely a significant dietary connection with any kind of condition listed, not just a lack of exercise,” Fortney warned.

That means you shouldn’t be goblin down a lot of sugary snacks.

The bottom line is you shouldn’t ghost the gym. We want to see you healthy! Come on in and get your blood pumping! You’ll live a longer, healthier life and enjoy many more Halloweens to come!
